exploring atlanta // acworth beach at cauble park

we woke yesterday morning with an urge to explore. the thought that summer might pass us by, and we had yet to spend a single day at a beach, has been weighing on my mind. a quick google search of "lakes near atlanta" would turn up this gem of a location. it's about 40 minutes outside of atlanta, and the perfect spot to spend a morning swimming and relaxing in the sand. there's also an incredible playground, and we even had the beach completely to ourselves for a short while. my itch has been scratched... for now. atlanta ga photographer, monkey and squirrelatlanta ga photographer, monkey and squirrelatlanta ga photographer, monkey and squirrelatlanta ga photographer, monkey and squirrelatlanta ga photographer, monkey and squirrelacworth beach, gaacworth beach, gaatlanta ga photographer, monkey and squirrelatlanta ga photographer, monkey and squirrelatlanta ga photographer, monkey and squirrelacworth beach, gaatlanta ga photographer, monkey and squirrelatlanta ga photographer, monkey and squirrelatlanta ga photographer, monkey and squirrelacworth beach, gaacworth beach, gaacworth beach, gaacworth beach, gaatlanta ga photographer, monkey and squirrel

exploring atlanta, downtown decatur

last week penny tagged along while i did a bit of location scouting for a family session. we had yet to explore much of decatur and this was just the excuse we needed. though really, it may have just been an excuse to photograph penn in her new yellow rain boots. either way, we had fun... atlanta ga family photographeratlanta ga family photographeratlanta ga family photographeratlanta ga family photographeratlanta ga family photographeratlanta ga family photographeratlanta ga family photographeratlanta ga family photographeratlanta ga family photographeratlanta ga family photographeratlanta ga family photographer

exploring atlanta, old fourth ward playground & splash pad

it's really no secret that after just a few short months i fell pretty hard for this new city of ours. there are a good number of reasons to love atlanta, but the one thing that got me is just how many amazing parks and playgrounds there are here. every neighborhood has at least one, and we're finding that they're all pretty stinking fantastic. we heard a number of times just how great the old fourth ward splash pad was, but somehow it still managed to exceed all my expectations. we went armed with snacks, sunscreen, and a change of clothes, and ended up spending quite a few hours playing here. i can already see this spot becoming heavy in rotation this summer! atlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierceatlanta family photographer, jenn pierce
