penny: you and stella kicked off summer with your first day of gymnastics camp. you both loved it and were fairly bummed when your mamas came to pick you up. gymnastics is a winner for sure!

penny: i came home from a shoot to find you sporting your daddy's slightly inappropriate for a 4 year old t-shirt. it cracked me up. i love it!

penny: on your last week of 4K preschool I chaperoned your class trip to the splash pad. seeing you running around with these friends, most whom you've now been in class with for 2 years, made my insides so very happy. you're like a little family at this point. i can't believe we only have one more year together. cue mama sobs now...

penny: a rainy morning spent at home. you, playing with sticker books. me, sipping coffee. one of those perfectly typical, yet completely fulfilling, mundane moments.

penny: we drove up to charlotte for the weekend to spend some time with your cousins (whom you haven't seen since christmas!), and to grab the last bit of our stuff that has been in storage for about 2.5 years now. it was a whirlwind of a trip, and made me realize we really should be making this drive way more often then we currently do. summer goals!
