penny: this year you decided to keep us in suspense and didn't decide on what you wanted to be for halloween until 3 days before the big day. luckily we were able to get your choice delivered in time and you were the cutest little (kind of a hot mess) super hero ever. so with your sister still sitting snug inside my belly we walked the neighborhood with your friends and collected alllllll the delicious treats.
penny: just a typical afternoon for this mud digging dancing butterfly...
penny: chalk and water fun was taken to a new level when you found out we were cool with you drawing on this concrete half wall we've got on the side of the house. and the doctor mask is just a happy addition to it all.
penny: a quiet snuggle with your daddy. you guys were actually probably watching a video about making sun dried tomatoes, or pulling out tree stumps. daddy always teaches you the cool things.
penny: on one of the very first days that started to feel like fall we took a nice long walk around our neighborhood. we collected leaves and met the sweetest kitty who then followed you around for a solid 20 mins. a few days later we would find out his name is charlie, the cut on his back came from being attacked by a stray dog, and that he now recognizes the sound of your voice and runs to you almost every time we pass his house.
