first they were predicting 6 inches, then 3, then 1... we woke early and saw that we had gotten zero snow. the freezing rain we did get though was beautiful enough to make us not mind at all. also... when you're a kid in the south sometimes you go sledding on a sheet of ice, sitting on a rubbermaid container lid, on a hill in your backyard, and you think it's the greatest thing in the world. here's to simple pleasures!
