penny + clementine: a little easter egg hunt with some friends is a perfect way to spend a sunday. the four of you have no idea what it is to not have each other in your lives, and i think that's pretty darn incredible!

penny: you and stella had a sleepover at our house during spring break. somehow we've lived next door to your best bud for a bit over a year now and this is the first one you've had here.
clementine: you were just excited to play with the big girls. and as a your mama, who has a sister 5 years older, i can tell you this is what much of your future will feel like. just being excited to play with the big kids.

penny + clementine: one of your favorite things is to both be in the crib playing with with a few stuffed animals... and maybe even a cat or two.

penny: we had a little quite after school activity one day painting flower pots for teacher appreciation week. it was one of our calmer afternoons.
clementine: you had your first taste of food this week. avocado! though you enjoyed the initial surprise and change of pace, and really enjoyed the mess, overall you weren't quite ready for the whole actually eating part of it.

penny + clementine: penny, you picked out these coordinating shorts/pants for you and clem when we were shopping one day, and were so excited to be matching sisters. spring afternoons in the backyard with the two of you are my favorite!
