penny: while our friends lesli + dave were out of town you were the perfect little helper watering their garden. well, perfect except for when i said it was time to go to their house you said you didn't want to go. then when it was time to leave their house you said you didn't want to leave. typical. also, i don't know when you learned to look at the camera and smile. lord knows i've never asked it of you. i'm pretty sure this is the first time you've ever done it for me and it caught me completely off guard. you're a cute little goober.

a family session // atlanta ga

this is the second chance i've had to photograph the payne family (first time). their family has grown but somehow they've remained just as awesomely laid back with two kiddos as they were with one. it was pretty comforting to see!

penny: each year we try to do a weekend camping trip with our whole (mostly vegan) atlanta crew. this year, even though it was about 95 degrees every day, and not much cooler at night, i think it was the most fun one yet. you're one lucky kiddo to be surrounded by all these friends like family.
