the 52 project // week 37

penny: i don't know if you fully yet realize just how lucky you are to be surrounded by the people you are. by the kind of friends who would sneak into our backyard while we're away for the weekend and set up a jungle gym that your mama has had her eye on for months. friends like family. we're all pretty darn lucky.

 

the 52 project // week 36

penny: since you were about 18 months old, you could easily be entertained for hours with just a bit of sidewalk chalk and a bowl of water. dry chalk hardly interests you in the least, but when the mess factor is upped with the addition of water you enter what has now been coined your "rainbow world". a place where time and space no longer exists for you. you sing, you create elaborate story plots, get as messy as possible, and you're basically just 100% in a land of your own making. it's pretty awesome to watch.

penny: after swimming for a few hours in gaga & pop pops pool we all relaxed in the ways we best know how. daddy took a nap, you watched (apparently a rather suspenseful) episode of doc mcstuffins, and i took advantage of this normally not stationary subject matter and played around with my camera for a bit. wins all around!
