clementine: some days i feel like you spend most of your time on this here changing table. i forgot just how much one tiny baby can poop!
penny: you got hit with a pretty good stomach bug this week, and while we were washing all your bedding you grabbed a blanket, asked me to snuggle with you, and fell asleep within minutes. it was the silver lining to an otherwise messy and sleepless 24 hours.

two weeks in...
two weeks getting to know you. two weeks of hibernating from the world. of cozy snuggles and broken sleep. of first gummy smiles, and amazing friends bringing delicious food. of a big sister falling madly in love with you. two short weeks and it's hard to believe you haven't always been here.

penny + clementine: after a few days hunkered down at home adjusting to this new life we decided to venture out for our first family walk. it was a perfect fall afternoon and the fresh air did us all just right.
