penny: i have a picture of you licking snow off your mittens every year for the past 3 years. you simply can't resist it!
clementine: the side smirk. the new rolls forming. you're really turning up the cute factor these days!
penny + clementine: your aunt, uncle, and cousins came down from ny for some christmas/new year/meet clem celebrations. penny, you were a maniac in heaven. clem, you took some good shoulder naps. it was not easy to see them go.
and just like that, another 52 weeks gone by. let's see what 2017 has in store!
penny: your favorite thing these days is when we let you walk around holding clem. it's the ultimate grown up thing to do in your book. it's pretty cute too.

clementine: some days i feel like you spend most of your time on this here changing table. i forgot just how much one tiny baby can poop!
penny: you got hit with a pretty good stomach bug this week, and while we were washing all your bedding you grabbed a blanket, asked me to snuggle with you, and fell asleep within minutes. it was the silver lining to an otherwise messy and sleepless 24 hours.
