penny: my camera was off being cleaned for the entirety of last week. luckily it arrived back in time for a little saturday morning impromptu photo shoot with you and daddy. afterwards, while editing, i noticed that about half of the photos are of your little blonde baby curls. there are just a few of them left now. the weight of your big girl hair seems to be straightening them out. perhaps that's why i felt the need to capture them this day. how i love those curls...

penny: our lately looks something like this... long winter days of no naps, wearing the same pjs everyday because you're obsessed, round after round of Go Fish and puzzles, and some of the sweetest tea parties i've ever attended. also, you look about 25 in this picture, so please knock that off!

penny: you were a little under the weather most of this week, so much of our days were spent painting, playing dress up, and taking little walks around the neighborhood. i will say, you deal with the whole cooped up in the house thing WAY better then your mama. thank you for that, my little nugget.
